Today, I'm going to try to be like a coconut palm. This jewel of the tropics is the ultimate beach bum.
She thrives near the coast ~ check
She plants her toes in the sand ~ check
She loves salty air ~ check
She bends without breaking ~ working on this
She is prolific into her 80's ~ this remains to be seen
For today, I will let the blustering winds and flooding strains of life whip through my branches while I flex and focus on the horizon. Will you join me?
